Dr. Igal Elyassi is the founder and chief dentist of the Wilshire Smile Studio. He is a graduate of the prestigious University of Southern California School of Dentistry. Over the past decade, he has specialized in advanced esthetic and restorative dentistry, using the latest technology. Fluent in English, Farsi, Hebrew, and ancient Aramit, Dr. Elyassi is a big believer in good communication with his diverse patients. “I listen closely to what their concerns are, whether they want to improve their smile to land a movie role or get a better job,” he says. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Los Angeles Dental Society, and is a past president of the Los Angeles chapter of the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity. He has been repeatedly selected as one of the best dentists by the Consumer Research Council.

Dr. Victoria Cohen is a general dentist who graduated from the University of
California at Los Angeles
School of Dentistry and did an additional year of residency in advanced dentistry. She has been working at
Wilshire Smile Studio since 2002, specializing in more complex esthetic restorations, crowns, and bridges,
as well as implants. "I like being a dentist because I can provide quality work to the patients and
I like trying to make their dental experience as pleasant as possible," she says. She speaks English,
Farsi, and “a little Hebrew.” She is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association,
the Los Angeles Dental Society, the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity, and Los Angeles Women Dental Society.

Shara Shans moved to Los Angeles a few years ago, after graduating from SUNY- Farmingdale. After receiving her hygiene license, began working for the Wilshire Smile Studio. She speaks English and Farsi and is currently working just part-time on maternity leave.
Bianca Barahona is a graduate of Hosdos College in New York and has been working as a hygienist for 15 years, recently recruited to the Wilshire Smile Studio. She speaks English and Spanish.
