BriteSmile pioneered today's practice of teeth whitening by spearheading a breakthrough patented blue-light technology called "The BriteSmile Whitening System." The state-of-the-art whitening system is quick, effective and gently delivers a naturally brilliant smile. Consider this, in as little as 1 hour, a professional BriteSmile teeth whitening experience can yield a brilliant & healthy smile that will last for years. Now that is a breakthrough!
Now is the perfect time to look and feel better about yourself with a whiter, healthier, and more confident smile. Let's face it — one of the first things you notice about people is their smile. When you meet someone with a bright, natural smile, it catches your attention. However, over time, nature's aging process and your lifestyle (smoking or drinking coffee, tea, or wine) can stain or make your teeth lack luster.
Achieves the longest-lasting results, gives you the most naturally brilliant and uniform look, is clinically proven to be safe and effective, uses a low concentration of active ingredient (hydrogen peroxide), and is administered by a dentist.
Over 1,000,000 happy clients agree that BriteSmile is the easiest and most effective way to whiten teeth.
The BriteSmile whitening system gives customers peace-of-mind. The patented blue-light technology has revolutionized teeth whitening in a manner that is safe, effective and gentle. There is not a use of a laser, heat , or any scraping. The patented whitening system uses two simple elements: gel and light.
The BriteSmile Light The patented BriteSmile light is not a laser. It's a specially designed lamp that shines a gentle, blue light on your teeth.
It works in tandem with the proprietary whitening gel to accelerate the
whitening process. This light has been clinically proven to be safe on
tooth enamel as well as your skin, gums, and other soft tissues. It emits
virtually zero heat and zero harmful UV (ultraviolet) light. The lamps
are uniquely shaped to illuminate and whiten all "smile line" teeth
(top and bottom) while ensuring natural and uniform results.
The BriteSmile Whitening Gel The BriteSmile whitening gel is used in combination with the blue light, which has been optimized for patient safety and maximum results. While other whitening gels contain as much as 35%-50% hydrogen peroxide, BriteSmile's proprietary gel contains a low-level active ingredient and is buffered at a near-neutral pH value that is compatible with your tooth enamel. The gel also contains other ingredients such as glycerin and highly purified water to prevent tooth dehydration and to further ensure safety. The gel is specifically engineered to respond to the blue wavelengths of the light system. When the light illuminates the gel, it activates and safely accelerates the whitening process, achieving amazing results in just 1 hour.
How does it work? Dr. Elyassi will first examine your teeth and gums for good oral health. Next, as you relax in the chair, the patented whitening gel is applied to your teeth and the revolutionary patented BriteSmile light will be positioned over your teeth to activate the gel. As you watch TV, listen to music or nap, your teeth will lighten and your natural whiteness will be restored in just 1 hour through a completely safe process of oxidation. Through the unique chemistry and revolutionary blue wavelength light, a process that used to take many hours can now be accomplished in just 1 hour.
How long does it last? The long-term results depend primarily on the individual. Certain habits, such as the use of tobacco products, drinking a lot of coffee, tea, dark soft drinks, and infrequent visits to the dentist for regular cleanings can work against the results. Regular professional care and use of the BriteSmile professional whitening maintenance products can help maintain your whiteness for 1-2 years. Some people prefer to do the BriteSmile whitening treatment more frequently.
How white will my teeth get? In clinical studies, BriteSmile has been able to achieve over 8+ shades whiter on average. Of course, your results will vary as your starting point may be different from others and everyone's teeth respond differently. But in virtually all cases, the results are dramatic. Ultimately, the goal will be to achieve your optimum and natural whiteness. During the consultation, Dr. Elyassi will personally analyze your teeth and provide you with a customized recommendation. Even severe discoloration can be treated to yield great results. However, the more difficult cases may sometimes require a more lengthy treatment than our standard 20 minute treatment.
Is it safe and will it hurt? The procedure is completely
safe. The BriteSmile procedure will not damage enamel or existing fillings.
The primary ingredient in BriteSmile's gel is hydrogen peroxide, which
has been safely used in teeth whitening for over 100 years and is recognized
as an effective whitening ingredient by the dental community. The percentage
of hydrogen peroxide used in BriteSmile’s proprietary gel is 10%
lower than other whitening gels that often contain 35%-50%.
The majority of our clients experience no pain or sensitivity after the BriteSmile professional teeth whitening treatment. A very small percentage of customers may experience a minor dull "ache" following the procedure. Taking some sort of analgesic almost always resolves the feeling. It is best to avoid very hot or very cold drinks for the first 24 hours if you experience any tooth sensitivity.
Is this procedure for everyone? Virtually anyone wanting
to whiten his or her teeth can benefit from using BriteSmile; including
people with severe food, coffee, tobacco or tetracycline stains. Young
adults 14 years of age and older are great candidates for this procedure,
especially for those that have heavy staining after orthodontic treatment
is complete and their braces are removed. BriteSmile recommends that you
do not undergo this process while nursing or pregnant, receiving orthodontic
treatment, or have extensive dental work, such as veneers, crown, or bridges.
These factors will be reviewed by Dr. Elyassi at your initial consultation.
